Heres a funny story.

So today I was all excited about checking my mail to see if I got a letter from the admissions office. Checked it first thing after school. Much to my dismay, there was nothing there. So I came home and got on College Confidential to check the Fordham page to see if other posters got anything today. While doing so I heard I recieved an email on AOl that was opened in the background. It was from the admissions office about "Accepted Students". I got in :-P.

Congratulations!!! What were your stats? Do you think they're sending these out to a special group, or did everyone get them? Thanks, good luck all!

Nice, good job!

I got one of those in my e-mail today too!

Haha, I think on the application I checked to only be accepted if I got into the theatre program...so I hope it means I got into the theatre program! OH man! Ahhh!

Congrats to you Kingofliterature!

thanks everyone.

a bit of my stats for ThinkExpensive who asked:

3.83/4.00 GPA (5.3 weighted)
this years courses:

and no, im not sure if they're sending them out to special groups at a time or not. my email just said id get a formal letter of acceptance by this wednesday

Dear David,

I just wanted to drop you a quick email with some information we've put
together for admitted students.

First, here's a (link) to our admitted student web site. On that site, you'll
find information that admitted students are typically asking about.

Second, I wanted to remind you to sign up for our Spring Preview event
on April 15th. This is the best opportunity to visit campus. Spring Preview
allows you to do and see more in one day than any other event we host. To
make your reservation now click here(link)

Third, we'll be reaching out to you via email quite a bit over the coming
days and weeks. Keep an eye on your email for more announcements.

I hope to see you if you're on campus anytime soon. Make sure to drop
by our Office and say hello!

Sincerely,
Peter Farrell
Director of Admission

P.S. We also have campus tours and information sessions scheduled
during April. If you can't join us for Spring Preview, do come for one
of these!

P.P.S. If you haven't received your formal offer of admission just yet
don't worry!! Your offer is on its way and you should have it by
Wednesday of this week.

thanks David. That was helpful.

glad to help.

i think acceptances come first and then rejections will come. not positive but that's the way it's seeming...two people from my school got in yesterday while a couple still haven't heard.

bummer :(. If that is true, I don't know why they don't just say it!! why make everyone so much more anxious and TORTURED

obviously im not positive, but i really hope i am not

Has anyone received a rejection yet?

im not sure, but not getting that email is getting me worried.

i'm just banking on a rejection. guess it wasn't meant to be.

i got waitlisted.
