Your thoughts on AP's

Which ones have you taken (or at least taken the tests for)? Hardest? Easiest? Please share your opinion. :)

Hmm, I have a feeling that this is going to be moved, but anway, have taken six: Calc AB, Chem, Eng. Lit, Physics B, Span. Lang., US History
Personally:
Hardest: Eng. Lit then US History
Easiest: Calc AB then Chem

What made them easier or harder?

Easiest to hardest
Class/material-wise: calc ab, world history, us gov, english language, chemistry
Difficulty of test-wise: calc ab, chem, us gov, world history, enlish language

Well for me, in Eng. Lit. the teacher really wasn't a very good teacher and didn't know how to prepare us for the test so everyone was really concerned about how they would do, then there is US history which just had so much info attached that it's just so difficult to study for. Calc AB I just had a knack for so that really didn't concern me, and with chemistry, though I had to self-study it, I actually picked up rather quickly. Physics I knew was hit or miss for me so I don't really consider difficult or easy, and Spanish, though I'm practically what is considered a native speaker, I did terribly on the speaking section [only completed the first three pictures in the six pic sequence and the open response questions were these ridiculous ones on technology], so I really can't consider spanish difficult though i didn't do as well as I would have hoped for so I don't exactly consider it easy.

How hard is Human Geography? I'm taking it this coming year, and it's my first AP. I'm a little worried. Also, how much pre-knowledge does Computer Science I require?

US History is difficult because it's A LOT of material and the course/teacher is usually pretty rigorous. In my class, we were assigned homework every night where we had to outline sections of the book (we did that for the ENTIRE book, and history books are rather huge). There was never a day we didn't have outlining, including week vacations and over the weekend. On top of that, we had various other assignments, DBQs to do, and so forth. The course is writing and reading intensive. It's still pretty fun, though, and I would recommend it.

AP Language & Composition is moderate. Our teacher was new to teaching the course (first year taught at our school), so she didn't really have a lot of experience. We didn't start doing real prep work until the last couple of months, but whenever we took practice tests, everyone in the class did terrible. I'm not sure how other schools teach the curriculum, but it's a bit more flexible than US. I was surprised when I took the exam, because it was a lot easier than I anticipated, and I managed a 5. If you are naturally good at reading, and especially writing, it definitely comes into play.

APUSH - Well prepared (had the course for 2 damn years!!!) and a bad DBQ doesn't kill you. You have to be prepared for the types of questions you will face. 5

AP Calc AB- joke test, should have taken BC! 5

AP Stat - was very prepared, and took it when it was easy 2005, its gotten harder however 5

AP Micro - Let me put it to you this way, I started this class in october, b/c my school is gay (That is a whole month of preparation less than everyone else who took it) worked everyday never did a test or homework finished in January, never looked at material until day berfore tet again, got a 5

AP Macro - Started in LAte January, there is less memorization than micro so the curve is worse, got killed by the curve 4

Easiest: Chemistry
Hardest: French Language

I took Human Geography last year, and i thought it was really easy. at least in my opinion. but i always had a great teacher.
