What's the most "prestigious" AP class/exam when it comes to college admissions?

English Lit? Calc BC? Physics B/C?

I think Calc BC is up there as one of the hardest exams

Human Geography definitely.

Geo? You're not serious.

AP Chem is one of the hardest, or so I've heard.

maybe us history since it was the first to come out

colleges love dem languages...Japanese Language and Culture will be a force to be reckoned with next year..all u calc/physics goons think u got it tough?

Spanish Lit.

I think the foreign languages and physics C. Those exams actually require a lot of knowledge.

Out of APUSH, APLit, APComp, APWH, and APChem, Chem is the hardest BY FAR. We didn't have to do the HW, because our teacher said she'd never check, but I wound up doing like at least an hour or two every night to keep up. I'm not the most math-orienated person, so that may have had bearing.

Ap French!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Lit / Lang@!

I found Comp Sci AB to be much harder than APUSH, AP Chem... maybe it's just me and my inability to write recursive functions

Definitely the foreign languages and some of the math/sciences. It will completely depend on the college(s) you apply to, what your major is, etc.

yeah, in all seriousness (unlike last post), Chem is pretty tough, and BC is certainly up there. And foreign languages for non-native speakers are very impressive, imho.

AP Biology, since NO ONE TAKES IT! Same with AP foreign languages, and AP Physics C.

No one takes AP Bio, really? I'll prob selfstudy next year, moreso to learn the material since I won't have a course in which we actually learn biology than to gain credit.

Yeah, the AP Biology class at my school is about <20 people, out of a 435 person grade. If the teacher is good, then the class is great; people tend to avoid the class for this reason (my AP Bio instructor was a Biology Ph.D from UC San Diego).

AP PHYSICS
B, C, whatever

i'd say bio, chem, calculus and definitely the foreign languages.

history/english dont even count for some schools. but the others usually do.

but it depends on your college.

Does everything in life have to be "prestigious"?
