FILM 2740 Introduction to Film Analysis: Meaning & Value or FILM 2760 - Survey of American Film. I am not a film major, just a film buff, who wants to take a film class for fun. So which would you recommend?

The first sounds more broad while the second, so it implies, emphasizes on American film. I’m a film buff and watch everything. American film has an amazing history as you know too though. Can’t go wrong either way. I’d pick the first probably.
