<p>D has a telephone interview next week for a potential 4-week <em>paid</em> trip to Germany to study for the month of July....</p>
<p>My family is moving back to Europe, but I'll probably stay behind and work full time to try to save up money for college (that's assuming I get in, which I haven't yet).</p>

<p>I was thinking about working at a magazine this summer, or continuing with my current boss (she's a photographer) but I'd like something more arts intensive.</p>
<p>I was considering teaching youngsters photography at this lower east side community center... </p>
<p>I'm going to try not to go nuts, though, as i tend to do when choosing what to do. I love working, but I'd like to have some time to just go to the beach with friends and enjoy our last few days together.. work will always be there, right?</p>
<p>rinysline...She did great on the National German Exam, then filled out an application, and became a semifinalist.... Next step is the interview (on the phone, and in German!). Keeping our fingers crossed!!! (But the odds are better that she'll get accepted to MIT, I think...Oh Well.)</p>
