hey its the summer before my first year of college and im not sure what i want to do. I was planning on just hanging with friends and enjoying myself but i'm starting to feel like a bum. Should i get a job, even though i worked past summers and have a decent amount of money saved up? plus its probably going to be my last free summer, so i'm also thinking about that. just want to know what you think.

your last free summer - should be free

by definition

^^ enough said haha

Some of my friends who are graduating this year are going on a cruise. That might take too much planning/organization/money, though.

Sleep in! Read! Work! Watch movies! FB with new people on your college network! Go to the beach!

whatever the hell you want!
it might be good to get a job or volunteer or something. otherwise you’ll be bored, and being bored isn’t fun.

party every day as if it’s the last one you’ll ever enjoy (:

Relax.

Since you have some money saved up, you might want to look for a laptop.

take vacations. I’m from Southern CA and I have a lot of graduates going to Europe, Canada, Hawaii, Alaska, Asia, etc.

Same sitch as OP. I’m trying to watch every episode of Buffy and Angel…It’s an insane amount of episodes, but I really like it, so… I also am trying to read at least 1 serious novel a week, and study calc I on my own.

^^ thats not summer.

I’m doing my summer reading, going to late grad parties, reading a few books, buying a new computer, making sure I still know how to do Chem, and sleeping in quite a bit.

We have no where near enough cash to go to another state on vacation let alone overseas so no travel for me, heh.

get fit. :D

same exact situation. im getting bored.

go on CC everyday and tag all the threads xD
