Spanish V and Latin IV
GPA: Cum: weighted 4.7 unweighted 4.0|midyear report gpa 5.0 weighted 4.0 unweighted

SAT scores V: 640 M: 620 W: 690
SATII(so far) Literature: 740 Spanish Reading: 720 ( I will be taking History French and Math)
ACT's: Composite 29 R: 33, M:29 S: 27 E: 29</p>

<p>Main EC's: Girl's Varsity Soccer ( Awards: Best Goalkeeper, Highest GPA), Co-founder and secretary of French Club
VP of student government/
Volunteer work, I coached a u-16 recreation girls soccer team for 2 years
I tutor students in Spanish and Latin
I worked for the family business two summers (wholesale product delivery)
Last summer I attended Brown's Pre-College Program( 7 weeks) and took French and German
Other volunteer work in 9th and 10th grades</p>

<p>Recommendations: Good, I have one from my German professor from Brown and one from my Spanish and Bio teacher
Essays: Good, I talked about living in the South and breaking family and societal traditions (conservatism and positions of women)</p>

<p>I think I already replied to this. BUt your SATs and ACT are low for many IVYs. Your URM is a big plus, however. GPA looks great, and it looks like you have some good ECs. If your essays are good, you have a chance. SATs and ACTs seem to be the only downsides...</p>

<p>Agreed, test scores are below average, but everything else is strong.</p>

<p>URM, 29 ACT ~ 1300 SAT score, is good enough for many of those places.</p>
