<p>just a question. my gpa is actually a 3.6/4.6 (88.6 or close to). does anyone know what that gpa would be outta 4 cuz i guess most kids on this board report their gpa outta 4.</p>

<p>Geezy Peezy - my website prob sounds like its driving them crazy too but I did get a nice e-mail from an admissions counselor that they are looking for a solution. Also said my file is currently being reviewed. It was a very nice note - but I'm starting to wonder what's to review - I mean I had great recommendations - a 3.6 GPA with 11 honors and 3AP's and a 1250 "one-sitting" SAT - with very well rounded EC's between 3 class/club officer spots - a job and an internship - lots of community service - 4 years of 2 dif sports - and art honors/scholarship. They've had a complete file on me for over a month now and I'm seeing other lucky (and no doubt well-deserving) oos kids with comparable stuff getting their acceptances and I'm really getting a complex. Oh well - guess I'd better finish my honors app for Towson - seems like that may be my home for the next 4 years - I have to believe that if PSU is hesitating this much on me that there is something there that they don't like. :< argh</p>

<p>They said they reached a decision on my application last thursday. How long does it take for the letter to get to my house? I still havent heard anything from them and its been nearly a week, does it really take that long to go through the mail?</p>

<p>Heard today that one of my buddies got in today though - SAT 1200 and GPA 4.2 - he just got his stuff in December 1. Gosh - wish this was like the bakery with first come first served. </p>
<p>But at least now I can check my status on the website. Am now "officially" notifed that my app was received and is under review - now thats progress - huh?</p>

<p>Every once in a while they will reject a highly qualified person for some reason or another. We had a lot of people accepted with 3.0's last years and one 3.8 1450 SAT person rejected. Im not sure why those thigns happen but they do.</p>
