Hi everybody! I'm a current junior and I am really interested in applying to Northwestern. I was wondering if you could give me some advice/chances on how to approach the whole process. I recently got my SAT results. They were a 1540/2220 (800 CR 740 M 680W). My school doesn't rank, but if I gave an educated guess I would say I am in the top 10% of the class with a 93.5 UW GPA. I take mostly honors and AP classes. I have decent ECs and 700+ hours of community service. Anyway I was wondering both what my chances are with these stats and whether or not I should take my SAT again in order to improve my writing score.

I'd say you're in. I got in with much less impressive sats (1430/2160) and a tremendously embarrassing extra cirricular resume. your awesome M+V more than compensates for a weaker but still VERY good writing score. congrats.

Thanks for the reply! Anyone else?

If you really want to come to Northwestern, apply ED. I got in RD with less impressive stats as well..1460/2180, but I had very strong EC's and recommendations. Write good essays, and you'll have a very good chance.
