HI, I am an international student. I just got admitted to a Us LAC this year, so I am in the class of 2010. But I only got a half_scholarship, and my family find it rather difficult to pay the rest. And I myself hope to complete my college by myself. So I decided to transfer.

And I'd like to transfer into those Top 60 Universities/LAC for full-aid including tution and board fees.

Am I eligible?
And what kind of requirements are there and are there any restrictions to Intls?

I don't know much about international students...but I think very few international students get full financial aid from school. I think that's because the financial aid is generally allocated for Citizens and permanent residents by the federal government....someone correct me if Im wrong.

fin-aid is very stingy with international students. i know this because my cousin doesnt have his greencard and he was considered international.

merit scholarships are pretty much the only way to get a free ride, per say

In all honesty, I am suprised you got half-tuition being an international. That is an accomplishment in itself. It is very hard for internationals to get financial aid and being a transfer applicant doesn't help much either.

Oh,really? But one from my HS got admitted by Harvard and he got full-aid?
tracemhunter: do u mean there is hardly any possibility to get transfer?
