Hi guys, i need your insight and experiene

Hi, I got accepted to Uc Berkeley and hopefuflly I can transfer in this Fall 2015.

I am waiting for my transcripts to be reviewed, but I am just worried that it is still in review…

I checked some old threads, yet it was not my case.

Honestly, My admission was in hold due to my poor grades I received in winter quarter and luckily they sustained my admission!

I am thinking maybe this is why delaying review process.

Also, I did not my finish IGETC, which I already mentioned that I will not finish my IGETC by Spring in UC Application. Is it still matters?

I need your experience or share some thoughts !! thanks

I don’t personally have much experience but I’d suggest you give the Transfer Counselors a call since they would know best.

That said you’re transferring from De Anza to Berkeley? Could you help me out here? http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/uc-transfers/1794312-transfer-advice.html#latest

What advice could you give an incoming De Anza student. Thanks!

If you originally said you would not finish IGETC, then that shouldn’t be a problem. I remember it taking them a really long time to review my transcripts, and I think you’re right that the review might be delayed due to your poor grades, but if they sustained your admission then that shouldn’t be a problem either. I wouldn’t worry, but I think that you should contact your admissions officer.

^^^ agree

I am just getting paranoid…and I just witnessed a number of ppl got rescinded after their final transcripts were reviewed… Also, do schools care about HS grade to satisfy foreign language requirement?

You and to pass, C or better I believe, for HS credit. I don’t think the grade is factored into anything though … so long as you passed, the box for the requirement is checked.

Don’t quote me on this, but that’s what I assume. I don’t see how they could really factor your HS score into anything.
