Hi. I have a question about ECs...

<p>Okay. My ECs are definitely the weakest part of my app. The only things of importance are beta club president, nhs vp, and eic of the school newspaper. i've done about 200 hours of tutoring/volunteering at the library and battered women's shelter but i feel so inferior when i read different posts on this site. i know my list is kind of sad, and it worries me to no end that i'm a rising senior and can't do anything about it now.</p>

<p>i know you don't know the rest of my stats, but will something like this really hurt my chances?</p>

<p>i don't think so, it seems like schools would look for the well rounded students involved in hundreds of activities as well as students who have narrowed their interests</p>

<p>eic of the school newspaper is really significant and time consuming, alone. i don't think you have anything to worry about :)</p>
