<p>quick post:
I was wondering what my chances are of getting into UVA, UNC Chapel Hill, and Washington University at St.Louis with these scores:
SAT: math=780, verbal=690, writing=710
GPA: unweighted 3.82 weighted: 5.5
Class rank: 12th out of 365
I go to a nationally recognized high school.
I take all AP and GT classes, and next year will be taking on an all AP workload. These APs include a foreign language, Art, as well as advanced math, english, biology, and economics. I score well on AP exams as well.
I am also in SGA, Young Democrats, NHS, NAHS, etc and have participated in varsity track and field and cross country and will serve as captain in both next year.
In addition, are there any other schools that i should look at for safety schools, reach schools, or match schools?</p>

<p>Are you in-state for UVA or UNC?</p>

<p>That would help a lot for both. But you've got spectacular stats, so you definitely have a shot even if you are an OOS applicant.</p>

<p>yeahh the weighting thing makes the total GPA out of 6, where quality points matter just as much as grades</p>

<p>yo steve and hannah!!!! yea hannah btw you are way too pro at classes. your only problem is you aren't in young democrats AND young republicans, like myself. i hear thats a guarantee shoe-in to any college.</p>
