I asked because I saw you said you were a top musician in China…that would definitly warrant the need to submit a supplement! Now for the important question, are finances an issue or are you fine to be full pay?

I don’t need financial aid
Well, I suppose schools won’t know international musicians? I guess then, I have to submit? Just to be safe, and I can add on a few more extra talents.

sounds great. Work on your SAT and submit your music supplement. Good luck

@GA2012MOM Any predictions for the schools? Thanks.

No, sorry, no predictions and especially without test scores.

Well imo Match means you have a chance but its 50/50 (or less), so maybe keep all matches, 1 reach, and replace the rest you took out with safeties in addition to the safeties you already have.

But what I can do for other things to compensate for my GPA?

If you’re attending a British-patterned school, you don’t have a GPA, nor do you need one. You do need IGCSE (/GCSE) results in at least 8 subjects with a majority at A*/A, with at least 5 “traditional” subjects + AS results + A2 or A-level predicted results.
If you give us this information we can chance you better.
However, you need to include with 30%+ admission rate and 40%+ admission rates just to be on the safe side, OR include schools that guarantee merit for certain scores (you’d be an automatic admit to Alabama’s Honors College, making it a safety.)
COnsidering your musical ability, I’d say Yale SCEA is a good idea.

Just wanna let you guys know that I’ve been accepted to Northwestern already! Thanks again for your input.

CONGRATULATIONS!!!
I knew that your A/A*'s would hold sway. :)
