Hello!

Does anyone know how colleges view abscences in my senior year? I have already been accepted and have enrolled into my University and I am not at risk of having any C's or D's so my grades wont lead to any rescinding. But I may end this year with 19 absecences, which in my high school eyes means nothing and I graduate and receive no penalty. But will my college have an issue with that many absences?

If your high school doesn’t care, you’re probably fine.

You’ll be fine, unless your school penalizes you. Some schools give you an automatic fail for a certain amount of tardies, but that doesn’t sound like the issue here. I doubt colleges will even find out unless your counselor tells them.

Ah thank you! My school penalizes at 20 unexcused absences
(in theory you have unlimited excused for medical reasons and school trips), but I wont have 20 absences at most I’ll be at 19. My school puts it on the final transcript, but since my school doesn’t care, I guess my college won’t.
