High school advice...

I have been doing pretty bad in my freshman and sophomore classes so far.. and I want to step it up since I want to attend a pretty good university. I took honors in 9th and got most marking periods all a's and 2 or 1 b's. I didn't do much ec though.. so far for my sophomore year I'll probaly get 3 b's and rest a's which I know is horrible. (1 ap class and rest honors, side note my high school only offers 1 ap class in 10th) I'm looking to start working harder and improving all grades to A's. Also next year I will probaly take 3 ap since that is all my school offers.

Background on myself, I'm a Chinese that was born in China and still only have a green card. My family isn't that well off 50k< and yeah.. any advice?

I wouldn't call your grades horrible, especially since you are in all honors classes. Don't be so hard on yourself!

start working now, its never too late

Advice about what? you don't really say. If you don't know how to improve, go for tutoring or if your teachers have walk-in hours go to that. Start improving now, not in the future.

No, it's not the grades. That's something I can improve if I stop procrastinating. Just like studying for SAT's whether to do it through books, cds, or classes? Also like what ec's I should be doing and etc. Since I'm a Asian I'm not sure if I will do Tennis since many other Asians do that.. is it better to play tennis anyway rather than not taking a sport this year? Also which out of these sports would make me standout most between soccer, track, cross country, tennis, golf.., or volleyball?

The sport you are most passionate about.
