Horrible. I don’t want to go back this week and I’m going to fail my AP tests if I don’t step it up…

*inas*tyashell

Damn… sucks.

Classes are 24x harder than my other two years yet this year i’m actually trying. By the order of operations and law of cosines, I am getting barely better grades and working 50x harder and don’t get to play Call of duty all night

life sucks i wanna go to college…

anywhere now that i think of it XD
last week i was aiming for stanford but like so many others, CC burst my bubble. thanks CC@@@@ anyways im up at 12 am on a sunday so i prolly should sleep. later homie

and yeah ill be around for a while

My grades died in a hole. It’s cool.

I’m trying to bring them all up but I have so many Bs at the moment…I mean, they always go up at the end but I just want to pull a Dobby and beat myself.

Happy Sunday?

And like Praying4Luck, I now have no idea where I’m going to go to college.

have a sexy D in calculus i know colleges will love. black ops coming out on tuesday will only ruin my gpa more.
sup.

American system rocks. I used to be in the National system back in Prep school but I decided to try the American system for high school and it’s so damn easy, I barely study anymore. I can’t believe you people are complaining, you even have your subjects divided into four quarters, back in the National system, we had only one test that included everything we studied for the past eight months, lol

It’s the busiest year of my life…
And I have learned that I hate IB.

4 APs and coastin’. Staying home Wednesday to play Black Ops.

keeping the thread alive

Junior year is good now that we finished finals at our school. I ended the semester with straight A’s (taking 4 APs) and I managed to pull off an A in AP English Language even though I’m a math/science person. Hope you guys all have a good break!

Two C’s in Chem and English(For not turning in assignments) in the 1st quarter… and now I’m at a B+ in English.

I do need to retake my chem test and do my absolute best on the chem lab to save that grade in Chemistry.

School - meh. I have the equivalent of a 91 in AP Chem (with our 5% curve) and 92s in English and APUSH. AP Chem and APUSH are especially scary, since I’m getting the feeling that they could drop to 89s without warning if I mess up on one thing. (Which is what happened last year in Honors Chem.) I don’t participate enough in APUSH and the teacher calls on me when I’m half-asleep (it’s 7:40 in the morning!), so I end up not knowing anything and looking stupid… Hopefully class participation grade + failing at essays don’t kill me. (94 is the highest grade in that class, though, so I’m partially satisfied for now.) My other classes are 94-96ish, so I’m not worried about them.

Summer programs - stressing me out. My chemistry teacher wants me to do an in-depth profile of myself (similar to what seniors submit to their counselors for college recs). I really need to start on RSI essays (which will probably end up being used in my other summer program applications) and I have the feeling my transcripts are going to go out late. I think I have a slim chance at RSI due to being rushed, but my SSP app will probably be better, so I’m placing more of my hopes on SSP. If I don’t get into either, I’m applying to other research programs and Mathcamp as backups, and if I don’t get into those for some strange reason, there’s always going back to AMSP.

Math/physics stuff (AKA my ECs minus anime) - eh. Need to catch up on WOOT, do some more AIME practice, and maybe go through an AoPS combo book (or a few sections in ACoPS). AMCs are in February and AIME is in March, so I’m already feeling the time pressure. I’m going to IDEA Math winter camp next week, so that should help as well. Linear algebra online course is going pretty well; I got 100 and 97 on my last two tests. Hopefully the people at my local community college will let me take Differential Equations without taking the Calc BC exam (since I self-studied calc over the summer). For physics, I’m going to go over past Fnet=ma contests to prepare myself for the one in January and for reviewing mechanics for the Physics C exam. Hopefully I can cover E&M in time for the AP exams…

Eh. 91 in AP Chem, 99 in AP Chem Lab
93 in AB Calculus
94 in AP Psych
87 in AP Physics C
Eh…

School: Easier than sophomore year, for sure. I spend a lot of time doing Mock Trial, piano/violin (orchestra, solo, teaching), summer program apps, and (of course) CC/FB.

Got a B in Pre-Calc first quarter because I’m one of the few in the class who don’t cheat. Where’s the freaking justice? This year, I’ve felt so swamped, but only because I seriously procrastinate on everything. I’m only applying to one summer program, so I’m not too stressed out about that, though asking for the LOR was the most awkward thing ever… Kinda sad I’m spending winter break studying for the SAT/ACT and DECA though. nerdfail.

C in APUSH. so ******.
band is pretty much taking over my life…

ravenclaw

I feel ya.
It’s so annoying; cheating is one of the downfalls to American education.
In my AP Chem. class half the class cheats and the rest of the class (me) ends up looking like underachievers.

: (

So anyone else have their finals AFTER break? Its terrible, haha.
