I’m applying to 10+ (9 schools + 3 UC’s) but I’m getting fee waivers so I only have to pay for the UC’s. I really like all of the schools, and I want to see where I might get the most money (like others were saying).

I dunno, I feel I don’t have many options. Nothing is affordable so it literally doesn’t matter where I end up price-wise because it’s going to be too expensive anyways. Being middle-class sucks.

Elleya: I feel the same way. My saving grace is that my counselor at school thinks I can get the presidential scholarship at USC (which is my least favorite school on my list but still), and a girl with very similar qualifications at my school got it this year.

Am I the only one who’s not applying to a lot of schools?
Right now, I only see three schools worth applying to, and I’m sort of reconsidering the third school anyway.

Am I weird for not applying to any in-state schools? I live in GA, and want to study meteorology, and don’t want to go to Tech.

Applying to: Florida State, Univ. of Oklahoma, Purdue, Penn State, and Texas A&M to start… have some others to apply to, but I can wait for RD I think. I’m basically saving the GA schools for if I don’t get in anywhere else.

^You’re not alone. I’m not even using my state’s schools as safeties. (I hate it here. There are several reasons why but I don’t really want to go into it.)

Only 100 pages left of Jane Eyre (It’s 460 pgs long)! I can see the light at the end of the tunnel now! I also only have 1 page left of questions on it (there are 10 pgs).

Senior year starts Monday! I had the college orientation today (for the dual enrollment classes).

^It’s actually pretty good (20 pages left!!!). It gets annoyingly wordy at times but is generally easy to follow. It’s definitely one of the better ones I’ve had to read for school.
