Hmmm I’m so stressed! And the thing is I have a extremely easy work load.I’m just overwhelmed.

If the work increases I may have to quit sports which would be the hardest and most emotional decision of my life! I live sports as much as life itself.

Haha, I have a relatively easy workload too… But I’m doing really bad in Honors Chemistry. It’s not even AP Chemistry and I’m still doing really bad. And quitting sports isn’t that bad! I decided not to play field hockey this year, and I’m pretty glad with that decision. I LOVE knowing that after school, I don’t have two hours of grueling practice waiting.

Have you guys been studying for the SAT at all? I really need to get on that.

Im hoping I still have time to play softball this spring. It’s pretty much the biggest joke in school, which is why me and all my friends play it (cop out yuss) but still its fun to hang out with everyone.

I keep meaning to study for the sat. Ive done some prep for the PSAT but I honestly don’t think I’ll ever end up studying for the sat much. I just don’t have time. Oh well.

Haha I’m weird but I LOVE practice and conditioning. Maybe not at the exact time I’m doing it,but later on I’m grateful for it.

If I was to give up Basketball it wouldn’t be as big of a deal to me down the road. But lax is my world,I’d definitely cry a lot if I quit.

But at the same time last season was horrible for both sports. I just moved to this school last year and sports were never like this at my old school. At my old school we were like sisters, always there for each other on and off the field. Then I move to this place and our practices are like paired off into groups, people making hurtful comments about others. We lost just about every game. That’s not what teams are suppose to do.

But honestly what can you expect from a group of teenage girls who have to spend hours with each other?

Any of you guys take the practice PSAT that you received when you signed up for the test?
If so, how’d you do on it?
I managed a 224, but I think I have a pretty good shot at a 230 on the real one

Yeah, our school is pretty good about not saying hurtful comments to each other. We weren’t really very close but we weren’t mean to each other either. But I get where you’re coming from… I’m sure you’ll be happy with whatever decision you make, whether you decide to play or drop a sport. :)

Our school automatically has juniors take the psat every year, so I don’t know anything about a practice PSAT.

I’m taking a practice SAT in timed conditions next Saturday at a nearby library. I think depending on how I do on that, I’ll take the January or March SAT (probably the January one so I can take the May one if need be and have enough time to practice).

Good luck to everybody taking the PSAT/SAT!

@hanana it is a decent assessor of your potential performance on the SATs. I’m not completely sure as you are international, but you may qualify for some awards/scholarships
