High School Class of 2013

just like everyone else im applying to about 2/3 summer programs and if that doesn’t work out i still have my local colleges to do some researchhhh yeahhh. or a summer course

Houstonian here. Southeast Asian background, public school, middle class. <- Yippee. sarcasm hand raised Doing IB.

I’m applying to UT Austin, Columbia, Stanford, Harvard, and Yale. Unsure about Rice and Brown. The great thing about Texas is you have fantastic public universities. :)

99% sure I will major in the humanities. I’m leaning toward lit, English, comparative lit, East Asian studies, history…that vibe.

I’m applying to Telluride and a lab research program at Rice. If those don’t work out, I’ll volunteer…learn stuff…all that jazz. So excited/anxious for next year.

Hey guyss; is anyone else having a stressful year? >.<

I’m so worried about ACT’s, SAT’s and grades. :/

I’m aiming for a 94+ gpa, but this quarter is going terribly. I asked my honors english teacher what my grade was and she said it was an 86!

If I slip below the 94 mark, I’ll just have to make up the points 3rd quarter, but I really don’t want to get any B’s; I haven’t gotten a B since freshman year.

Btw, what’s everyone’s goals for the ACT’s/SAT’?

Mine:

ACT: 32+ (34+ on math, 30+ on reading, 32+ english, 33+ on science, 10+ essay)
Subject tests: 750+

And guys, we graduate next year<3

^Me, my year has and still is insane! And my goal is to get into the 2000s or 30s but go as high as possible. Also please don’t talk about next year I’m just looking forward to the summer right now.

My junior year has been craazzyy! So much work, so much stress, so little time, so little fun.

Same here!!! I am taking 2 AP classes besides my eight class schedules and I have began writing my personal essay which turns to be harder than i thought…hmmph. so confused! :/

who else just started the TASP app? hahaha

^Whats TASP?

Dang!!! Where are all the juniors at?! It’s been like FOREVER since I’ve seen this thread!! What’s going on?! Come on Juniors don’t let the sophomores and freshman beat us!

^^ 20 page APUSH paper due last monday, midterms starting this week. Been busy, ya know.

lets be real here its junior year we dont have free time.

^That is true…that’s why we should totally come hear to take a break and talk about fun stuff…umm I’ll start anyone here watch Persona 4 The Animation? or any other animes?

ISHYGDDT

Finally found this page after seeing 2014 just showing off for a few days.
The free time we have is ridiculous how are we suppose to do everything we want these days- need longer breaks, shorter schools.

Really I had to go to page 6 to find this thread. And I haven’t had a real break in like FOREVER! I want a break with no stress or anything

Junior year let on to seem like nothing, then I found my dream school: Yale.
Now im studying for 7 AP Exams, trying to manage a 2100+ SAT Score, starting two clubs, one based on enhancing in-school education and running SAT/AP Prep and tutoring, and one based on an individual musical organization that plays around our county.

I WANT SLEEP.
If my dream school was Middlesex County College, this year would’ve been alot easier, and judging by this board…my competition is extremely tough.

Come on guys! I had to dig this thread out again! I know we all need sleep but can we at least talk about how much we need sleep or something?

I just unearthed a massive scandal at my school that resulted in getting 20+ juniors taken out of a certain gym class.

I mean I totally made that number up but quite a few were taken out :P

Junior year = death. Literally. And no clue where I want to go to college either :/

I’ve been really busy. Midterms were last week, and I was crazy trying to study for everything. On top of that, I had part of my ITGS IA due last Friday. My Math IA is due Friday, and I haven’t started writing it up yet. I’M SO BEHIND.

To-do list:
-Study for math quiz
-Finish Math IA
-History questions for Friday
-Plan out History teaching project for Monday
-Finish yearbook pages
-SAT prep/register for March
-Start Biology IA
-Work on musical playbill
-Register Interact Club for the Relay for Life

-Sleep?

Stress. I has it.
