Probably, but I’d ask your class community service rep or the community service person at your school.

@shmluza, I don’t really think I will, they ask for too much $$$$, so it doesn’t make it seem like such a reputable program.

@Political, library in Middlesex? I’ll be visiting in the summer so maybe just maybe we might bump into each other. Except I’m not tutoring, I’ll be a reading buddy.

That’s what I also do…as a reading buddy.

^ It’s fun right? It’ll be my first year though.

I can’t wait for debate next year. There’s a staunch Republican at my school(very smart), and it’s fun to debate him about political policies at lunch.

I love Cenk Uyugur on MSNBC: best news show ever.

NO NO NO NO! Arena on CNN is the best news show over. Spitzer may be “immoral” and “blasphemous”, but he’s a fiscal genius.
Not many smart Republicans over here, mostly smart Democrats who disagree on many things.

What are everybody’s favourite books?

Hmmm… that’s a tough call. I’d have to go with “St. Maybe” by Anne Tyler as my favorite book. But I have lots of favorites.

I’m going with the firm by John Grisham.

^ Grisham is a modern classic.

I like tongue-in-cheek literature. I was recently reading Admission by Jean Hanff Korelitz, but I wouldn’t say it’s my favourite. I love Agatha Christie, though. I’d say, ‘A Murder is Announced.’

I have loved Agatha Christie ever since I read ‘And then there were None’ in sixth grade! But I would have to say that my favorite book would be ‘Animal Farm’ with “David Copperfield” as a very close second.

and then there were none was incredible.

I read this book called The Gadfly. I was soooooo deeply touched. - not a book for very religious person.
I loved Jane Eyre.
I also loved The Thirteenth Tale by Diane Setterfield.

Hmm, hard to say. I like reading The Elephant Vanishes by Haruki Murakami, American Psycho by Bret Easton Ellis…and for my fantasy/sci-fi fix I get it from the A Song of Ice and Fire series (which I almost regret starting now because the latest book is taking forever to come out) and The First Law trilogy…stuff like that. My taste in books is pretty eclectic so it’s hard for me to choose one, but those four are what I’ve been reading recently.

Animal farm is amazing. Christie is a wonderful and intriguing author.

I read Murder on the Orient Express by her. is And then there were none an even better read?

I would say it is.

Yes, And Then There Were None’s my favorite Christie book hands down, I read a lot of the Poirot ones, dabbled in some Marple, but ATTWN’s my fave.

awesome! Tomorrow I’ll go to the library and borrow that book! (unfortunately I watched the movie already. It was two years ago. I hope I forgot all of it.)

Well, it’s nice to see some other people from the class of 2015! I was beginning to think I was the only one.

What math class are you guys taking next year? My public school likes to restrict people from skipping ahead.
