High School Class of 2015

Preppy: The economy was not similar to the economy of the late 1800s. Rather than just the growth of an economy, the '20s featured person wealth and the beginnings of the American middle class.

@Political,
That’s a good point. However, some of the mileage they have listed fit in pretty nicely with common times spent running. For example, 4 miles takes me about a half hour, so having that goal can be a good thing.

^Hey, I’m not a runner, I guess you are. Nice timing.

@Political, I wouldn’t really know. To my knowledge the American middle class was defined as a group in the 30s, but anyway… In all honesty, The Great Gatsby is an excellent book, but I don’t really like 1984.

The thirties? Absolutely not. The great depression was the thirties. The beginnings are rooted in the 20s, regression in the thirties, full speed progression in the 40s, and finally emerging as the dominant American force in the fifties.

^ Like I said, I wouldn’t know. Ask me about British regression and depression, and I can give you all the ‘deets’. Being a non-American, I just say what I’ve heard from other Americans, who seem to be less omniscient then you, Political. :P

Haha, thanks.
You just can’t wait to leave Britain can you?

^ Umm, well I don’t NEED to leave, I just want to… It’s the not the best weather in the world, and I have a really bad case of Seasonally Affected Disorder - ironically, S.A.D. Plus I think my fellow Britons are a bit snooty. :P

I have British relatives.
I know you don’t need to leave.
Yeah, SAD can really be annoying. I know some wqho have it.

^ Mhm. It certainly can. I’d suspect you have it too, since New Jersey’s weather is pretty imbalanced.

interupts converesation
I love England. And British accents.

British accents hmmmmhhhmmmm goes to happy place

British accents are nice but Australian accents are much better in my opinion

I love British people. One of my teachers was British and he was the absolute man. Also, British people write kick-ass books.

Hmmmum! If I saw a man with a strong accent, ohhhhhhh my.

Agreed with Ifax.
Does anyone here watch the greatest comedian since Carlin, Colbert?

raises hand I do. (Asian smiley face)

His segment with “Shock the Vote” recently was hilarious.
So, if anyone wants to disclose, what are your political views?
I’m a 'burbs liberal. Socially far left, fiscally center-left, foreign policy-wise mainstream left. I’m not a commie. Just for reference.

I’m the most left winged liberal who will ever see.Call me a socialist all you want.
I support:

  • Universal Health Care
  • Diplomacy over Military Power
    *Stem Cell Research
    *Strict Gun Control
    *Environmental Protection Laws
    *Immigration
    *Anti-Death Penalty
    *LGBT Rights
    *Preservation of Abortion Rights

Free trade? That makes you a libertarian.

I’m a republican
