High School Class of 2015

^With the wealth of information you have, if you don’t get into a boarding school, I’m going to be shocked.

LOL thanks @Political. Even if I get in, I might not go. I have some pretty unique opportunities at my local high school that I forfeit if I go to BS. I’m going to singing with a professional choir, so that might be a better experience than boarding school. I’ll let y’all know if I get in, and if I go.

I’m might apply to a few boarding schools. My mom really needs me at home because, I keep her sane. I think I may use those as a back-up plan if things go to h***.

Ifax: I’m not applying for the same reasons you are. My school has represented the state for 23 of the past 24 years in a national governmental competition.

You guys are way too young to be on CC worrying about college…

I don’t “worry” about it. I’ve just set a road map for my journey.

My Freshman classes:

AP Human Geography
Honors English
AP Earth Science
Geometry
Spanish 2
Journalism
Drama

Class of 2015 :)!!

1 important thing: FRESHMAN YEAR MATTERS!!! sadly, I didn’t take it as seriously…on the upside colleges love self improvement stories :D

What are y’all’s dream occupation? I’m debating between Physician,Physicians Associate, and lab tech.

note/I NEVER use y’all but, I’ve been awake for 30 hours and I can’t think of anything else. headslam

I agree with Hope: it’s just a road map.
Lesia: Is there even an AP Earth Science Class?

Political: Yes, at my school there is. Basically it’s just 10th grade science… but my school says it’s AP? There is two choices for advanced classses, AP and Honors… You choose AP, and for honors you have to get recommended. I guess it all depends on what particular school you attend.

Hope: I plan on attending New York University and study at the Tisch School Of The Arts and major in Screenwriting. :)

Pch340: The highschoolers on CC, let alone FRESHMEN! Are just dedicated people planning on having a GREAT future. We are the headstrong teens who actually care where we want to end up in 10 years.

^ Don;t whine. As I said on the first page we’ve been a thousand times nicer than the kids were when we (class of 2012) made a thread and we had actually started high school:

I believe a lot of us were originally on here for prep school forums. I know I was.

A friend recommended me the site. But seriously, is the “you need to go get a life frosh” thing necessary? We may only be incoming frosh, but in this time of admissions, you need to do everything you can to get an edge.

I found this site with the help of Google!!! I got Grade 8 with distinction for flute. YEAHHHHH dies

I was on here for Prep School too. I might still be on here for Prep school, but my attention’s been shifted to HSL for the time being.

Haha, that thread for the Class of 2012 was pretty funny.

Just like many of the people here, I initially came on CC to get more information about Prep schools. Which if you think about it, is pretty reasonable, considering most people start Prep school in 9th grade. I then discovered the HSL section of the site, and since then I’ve spent most of my time on here. If you think about it, most of us “incoming 9th grades” spend most of our time on THIS PARTICULAR thread. Therefore, it’s not like we are bothering you. In fact, you took YOUR TIME to come on here and bash US. The 10 min. you took to right that post, is 10 min. of your life that you will never get back ;)

Back then I came on here for the prep school forum too but when we made that thread we had actually started high school. I’m just saying don’t complain.
