High school class of 2016

You guys can I just say how much it sucks going back to school after spring break

Can I just say how much it sucks going back to school after spring break

Oops sorry lol

I would rather hear about how great it is not going to school when Spring Break begins! That’s my situation after this last school week.

What regions of the country are each of us representing? I’m southeast.

I’m from the Northeast, as you can see in the “Location” bar.

Southwest.

Southern California.

Northeast, we have vacation in April…

Southeast
A-Town

Northeast

And are you guys doing any summer programs/courses this summer?

ew freshmen

I’m doing Upward Bound and a Marine Science program at USC.

ugh. i can’t wait for spring break. although i might justspend spring break studying for chem sat and sat math. -__- and writing my research paper. so sad. :’(
I hate my grades right now. Chem H is a borderline A. I have a B in gym because my “skill level wasn’t high enough.” ***? I swear if this brings down my rank…
Well on the plus side we had elections for Model UN. I ended up being vice president.

Your gym class grades based on skill level? That’s weak; at my school, it’s only based on giving at least somewhat of an effort during the activities and getting dressed. You could be the absolute worst athlete on the planet, but you’d still get 100% if you fulfilled those requirements. And amazingly, even though that class SHOULD be an easy A, kids still flunk it. If you can’t even muster a D in gym, you might as well just drop out of school. That’s just pathetic and inexcusable. Also, like you, I have a ton of huge assignments to do over the break; I have AP Euro work, an English project, and an IB math Exploration/Research paper due soon after I return.

Wow, we are from different parts of the country and it’s kinda cool how we’re all on the same “journey”. We are all doing similar things although we are geographically spread out.

Er mah gerd, you guys have so many things to do. Model UN, AP Euro as a freshman, research project. I have absolutely nothing to do at my school.

I second hailbo. I’ve never even heard of any of these things until I arrived at CC… I feel so behind.

I’ve been on here since maybe halfway through eighth grade so I knew all about these things yet I didn’t take advantage of it (the fact that I’m a talentless hack doesn’t help). Now I’m stuck in this rut where I have absolutely no extracurricular activities and no plans for the summer. ****. The only thing I’ve got going for me is that I have good grades, but who really cares about that? I feel so behind.

I have a 4.0 but I absolutely do nothing outside of school other than Upward Bound. Next year I’m really gonna step up though. Thinking of doing water polo, debate team and aca-deca.
