^Lol, time to overwork and stress more…

State AP Scholar as a Sophomore anyone?

[State AP Scholar=Most AP’s Taken with 3.5 or 4 average. So in California it is like 26 AP’s with a 4.96 average. Where I live it is like 13-15, with a 4.5 average]

BTW, the award goes out to one male, one female per state [but ties always increase the number] so the total is like 108 people. That makes the program as selective as ISEF and the Presidential’s Scholar Program. Also, like 4 Juniors make it annually [based upon the data I have, which is very comprehensive]

@anterograde At least you have a beach…

I could never achieve that, I can feel it in my bones. In my school you start taking AP’s junior and senior (the only AP’s available as a sophomore are AP Euro and AP Calc) so I wouldn’t get far. I’d probably only get AP Scholar with Honor or Distinction, hah.

This is off topic, but are you guys still doing that facebook thing? I made a facebook so that it’d be easier to chat, and I want to add you guys!

^Yeah, we are. Add us! :)

@Swinter:
I would have thought that the deserts of Arizona are very “cool” :)

Haha alright. I’ll add you guys now.
My name’s Bernie Bright on there haha

To the others:

Join FB now!

BTW, we should have a scheduled meeting time so that everyone can talk.

Anyone good for 7:00 PM EST this Saturday?

I have no idea of how to add people from here. I’m facebook illiterate when it comes to the new account I made.

@Apollo11 I didn’t rate your schedule, the other dude’s. That schedule doesn’t look the same as the others you’ve posted. You’re changing your mind as much as I am.
That said, really? All AP’s and a self-studied AP? Have you even talked with your guidance counselor about this?

new poster coming in

Omg I get so excited about school supplies too lol.
But yeah 8 AP’s? I feel like I’m smart with my 2, and I’m the only person in my school doing 2 next year lol

The only one? That’s pretty sad!

Hey TeenDream! Welcome to the thread. :)

Yeah my friends think I’m crazy for doing a sport and two AP classes. I think I am distributing the difficulty of my classes evenly instead of making my junior year super hard.

Meh, the AP classes I’m taking next year I wouldn’t have taken junior year anyway.

Im stacking APs the next 3 yrs

3 soph yr
4-5 jr yr
5-6 senior

goodbye life

I was wondering…how would you all have lives by taking 4+ APS? It seems almost impossible.

Hm, well I’m only taking two next year. I already expect junior year to be rough. And knowing that senior year is the final stretch will get me through.

Hey Highschooler, do you have EOCTs back?

I’m taking AP World Next Year.

But Junior Year I’m Going:
APUSH
AP Stat
AP Psych (or AP Calc AB, or an AP Science)

AP Chem or AP Physics

AP Lang doesn’t seem like something I’d be into considering the teacher.
