<p>This thread sucks, guys. Let’s talk about something. What classes are ya’ll taking next year?</p>
<p>Anybody still on the forum? I’m in the Class of 2016 and I just found this thread, haha.</p>
<p>Talk about classes? Okay.</p>
<p>As a freshman my classes are pretty generic. English, physics, etc. I had an option to take accelerated physics but as a freshman I’d like to take it easy my first year. I’m switching from Chinese to French (mainly because my Chinese teacher turned me off from the language and I also didn’t like it much anyways.) I used to speak French which makes it easier on me. I’m also taking a class called Europe in the Modern World and an intro to dance course. I’m about to take my math placement test. Probably next week. I’m happy I only have, like, 6 periods a day (yay!). The sixth class was optional so I really only needed five. </p>
<p>Anyone else pick classes yet?</p>
<p>I did! But it’s also pretty generic as most schools don’t offer APS for freshman. I’m taking honors english, algebra 2, physical science, social studies, French 1, music theory 1, and band. I’m really excited!</p>

<p>I’ve chosen my classes as well! Like you guys, I’ve got pretty generic classes too. I’m taking honors English, algebra 2, biology, world history, French, and TV production. All honors, not just English ;)</p>
<p>I wish my school didn’t make me take physical science. I’m pretty sure nobody else o. Here had to take it - it’s like, not even a real thing</p>
<p>That sucks. My school doesn’t really have any required non-core classes besides PE. I’m trying to put it off.</p>
<p>That’s cool. We also have gym, Which we need every year 
But you can skip gym senior year if you play a sport… Is marching band a sport?</p>
<p>I dunno. At my school doing three semesters of marching band will fulfill your PE credit.</p>

<p>If I went to my town’s local high school I would have all honors classes and I’d be in this specialized math and science program. I think in the HS I’m attending the classes I’m taking are average or slightly below :c</p>

<p>… This forum is classified as pre college issues or whatever. Even though this is specially for high school life we are almost in high school and we may be wondering about actually high school life.</p>

Have youse all made your entire hs schedules yet! I have. I should have about 10 aps, give or take 2</p>
<p>No, I haven’t made my entire schedule yet. I’m still deciding between the IB or AP route, since my school offers both.</p>
<p>My little sister is in the HS class of '16 
I helped her plan her schedule for next year. She signed up for Alg 1 Honors, English 1 Honors, Spanish 1, AP Human Geography (which is the only AP class available to freshman), Biology Honors, Culinary 1, and Art. The last two were just to fill up her schedule. My little sister is planing to go to UF. That’s her dream school. She decided that earlier this year. </p>
<p>Do you freshies have your dream schools already planned? (I’m a rising senior.) I can help you guys with any questions you have. </p>
<p>PS, HS goes by very fast, enjoy it. It feels like I was just a freshman, and couldn’t wait to start college apps. Now I have to start this summer. </p>
