@topaz1116 Yup. And we were supposed to turn in individual resolutions.

@loquatical Are you guys just starting to learn how to write resolutions? I’ve never heard of anybody requiring a resolution turned in before the conference. Doesn’t that sort of defeat the whole point of the conference?

UGH. I’M IN LOVE WITH (ANOTHER) MAN OVER 30 YEARS OLD AND I CAN’T GET UP!

But seriously… you all have your lives together so much more than I do.

@MissSuzyQ

I was once like you, a girl hopelessly in love. I couldn’t stop thinking about him, talk, get my life in order.

Then I looked at the statistics

The probability of a guy my age and I getting together is okay sized. Of us going to the same college and staying together there is small. The probability of us getting married is very very small. The probability I will fall in love with someone else or they will cheat on me within those 8 years is high.

The probability of that happening with a 30+ year old has a .001% probability.

Then I got over it.

(not a true story… sorta)

I have so much hw over break
:’(

@loquatical That is absurdly strange. You’re supposed to write a resolution at the conference. Which conference is this for? And how do you already have your country/committee assignments? My school only gets them, like, a month in advance (at most). Your position paper should be due to the chairs, not to anyone else at the conference. Hell, position papers aren’t even mandatory (although it’s awesome to do them).

I was at a sleepover/birthday party last night for my friend’s sweet sixteen, and I stayed up til 5 watching movies (I think the earliest anyone fell asleep was around 3:30 or 4); then we all woke up at 8:30. We also discussed how this one Indian movie star and his roles have made our expectations for guys nearly insurmountable. Like, I’m not going to marry anyone because the person I want to marry doesn’t exist.

Do you guys have any odd traditions?

Foot fetishes. Every holiday, my family puts our feet on the table and gets food with our feet.

Just kidding. That’s nasty.

Thats really nasty

Not really, no. My family doesn’t really have any traditions.

I wish my teachers didn’t give me homework over break…
Oh well.

I actually don’t have very much homework so this break is very relaxing.

I still haven’t finished my essays and haven’t even gotten to start APUSH… At least I finished my preCalc project and physics homework.

I have a bit of History that I’ve put off until now, but it shouldn’t take too long.

I keep forgetting I need to read two chapters for AP World, I’ll probably do one today and the other before school tomorrow (we have late starts on Monday).

English paper on the Great gatsby… Our teacher sent us audio feedback so that was helpful

All I have left now is to study for APUSH

Hey guys, I have a question:

What is the number grade for the letter grades such as C+/B or C-/C or B+/A- etc.

C- = 70%-72.9%;
C = 73%-76.9%
C+ = 77%-79.9%;
B- = 80%-82.9%
B = 83%-86.9%;
B+ = 87%-89.9%
A- = 90%-92.9%
