The official thread for HIGH SCHOOL CLASS OF 2012!

This is a thread for the High School Class of 2012 to talk. Introduce yourself and you can post schedule's for next year, etc. There might not be much of us, since we are only freshman. We can also talk about goals and future college's we would like to go to. You can also talk about AP classes. I'll just start by posting my schedule for next year:

AP World History
Accelerated Integrated Algebra I
Honors Chemistry
Advanced Drama
French I
Honors 10th grade Language Arts

So, lets chat away. LOL.

And who knows, we may see each other at college in a few years.

Fixed. Also, joining as a 9th grader sounds like a very bad idea.

Sorry, but how is integrated algebra accelerated for a 10th grader? And why does a freshman have 624 posts outside HSL in 3 months?

how do you have 624 posts and you just signed up in February?

you seriously need to get off CC. these 4 years will be the longest 4 years of your life if you spend all your time on this forum.

LOL, I didn’t even look at the schedule. In LAUSD, everyone is supposed to take Algebra 1 by 8th grade. I would guess that most that haven’t passed it by 10th grade don’t graduate.

the HS class of 2012 needs to GET THE HELL OFF OF CC

Excuse you IBfootballer. Please don’t be rude and answer my thread. I am taking Accel Int Algebra I this year, lol. I am taking Accel Integrated Geometry next year. It’s basically Algebra one semester and Geometry one semester and gets harder each year. Also, Int Algebra one is not the same thing as Algebra I. I came on here because I’m planning on applying to go to an early college this fall, Bard College at Simon’s Rock. And I’ve been posting a lot on the main forum, AP forum (I am in AP Human Geo) and Theater & Drama. Also, it’s great since the younger you start the better. And I don’t spend all my life on here. I go on here on some weekends/weekdays, not everyday.

Was I talking to you?

no, i was talking to the class of 2012. which you, as you are planning to leave HS in a year or so, are not really a part of, are you?
you’re planning on going to college in a year or so.
you’re different from the rest of the class of 2012.
which still is not yet at the point where they need to be on CC. freshmen should not be worrying about anything other than getting good grades and developing themselves as interesting people. That’s something you don’t need CC for at this point.

so, I repeat, the class of 2012 needs to get the hell off of CC.

Did you create this thread? And yes I’m planning to graduate 2 yrs early, but I would still like to talk to pl my own age about schedule’s and etc. I originally came on here for info about Simon’s Rock. CC can help freshman learn more about AP exams in that section and learn more about college’s. Also, technically we are going to be sophomore’s pretty soon.

if you want info about simon’s rock, then make a thread on that. otherwise, be prepared to be bombarded with scorn from people who think that freshman ought not be worried about college right now. they should be worried about high school.

First of all, you have got to learn to stop using apostrophes when you pluralize.

Seriously wait until next year for this thread, it’s an unwritten rule on CC to wait one more year.

Anyone can clearly see that you created it.

Eww come back once you’re a junior and know how to use apostrophes

Is Eww even a word? I would think and read before you speak. I created this thread for other rising 10th graders. So, we can talk about classes and etc. There has been some freshman on here, because I’ve talked to some about AP Human Geo. I also don’t know any one who isn’t a freshman who takes that course.

You could argue that if you can say it, it’s a word. And I know that you can argue it becuase rhetoric dictates that everything is an argument.

First of all, I’m not going to argue. All I wanted was to dicuss things with pl my own age. I even found the class of 2011 thread and I’m just a year younger.

You’re just a year younger. That’s exactly the point. No one cares about Freshmen or Rising Sophmores [whatever you want to call it]. Only Rising Juniors and Rising Seniors because those grades are the only ones that matter in high school to colleges.

I don’t see why this thread is useless.
All four years are important.

LOL a freshie
