<p>Hello peeps!
I just joined my DB team. While I enjoy debating some of the people in the team are not the type of people I would like to hang out with (you can interpret that any way you like). I’m not sure about staying on the team now. I don’t really get excited about going to practice because if this. I’m thinking about joining MUN and the Academic Decathalon instead, but I really just don’t know. </p>

<p>My GPA calculation is extremely simple.</p>
<p>For Honors Classes:</p>
<p>A: 5.0
B: 4.0
C: 3.0
(and so on)</p>
<p>For regular classes it’s the same deal just with one point lower for each grade. (e.g A = 4.0)</p>
<p>@littlelearner, I’m in debate too, but my school sucks at it. I would try Academic Decathalon, sounds nerdy, but I think it would be better than MUN.</p>
<p>Why do feel it would be better than MUN? I quite like International Relations. However, are the teams notorious for doing illegal things? It’s not really my crowd.</p>
<p>I literally just watched my math grade change for everytime I refreshed the page… The horror… I get my report card tomorrow… My GPA is 3.8…</p>
<p>Took a quiz on part one of To Kill A Mockingbird today. Have you guys read this book yet? I think it’s a pretty good book. Feel confident about the test, I could really use a 100 in Lit.</p>

<p>We don’t get report cards until the semester ends, so that’s annoying. I know all of my grades, though and at the moment I have a 4.0! :D</p>
<p>I read to kill a mocking bird last year, I liked the ending, but not the middle. Overall good book. :)</p>

That’s cool! I according to my schools grading scale, I have a 4.0. I mean, I’m not entirely sure I’ll get them today be cause one teacher said we’d get it in the mail, but another says we’d get it 10min before dismissal. Some of my teachers have already entered my grades.</p>

You children all take yourself so seriously, in freshman year I couldn’t tell you one thing about college confidential or most colleges for that matter…trust me, you’ll turn out fine even without panicking about college your whole life (I didn’t)(I think…)</p>
<p>I know. Don’t stress myself out before junior year. Well you know what, I’ve been lazy for all of my elementary and middle school years and its time I changed for the good. Not saying I did bad cuz I didn’t but just saying. I feel bad when I’m lazy or when I don’t do something. I feel like I committed a crime or something. Im sensitive.</p>
<p>this website called College Confidential has added an infinite amount of stress and pressure on me now that I realize just HOW HARD it is to get into HYPSM, my life is literally modeled after the average serious chance applicant to HYPSM excluding EC’s. the good thing is that I know what I have to do!</p>
