@dsi411 How did you get to take AP English Language? At my school that’s pretty much exclusive to seniors, but maybe my school is a little backwards.

@folkiestcat At my school sophomores take AP English Lang. and Juniors take AP English Lit.

@dsi411 Wow, I wish I was at your school. At mine, the English department is subpar, to say the least. Hours and hours of busywork.

I feel sorry for you. Our English department is top-notch. Our chemistry department on the other hand…not so much.

Rate Sophomore Schedule.

Good luck all!

7.5/10, you NEED a foreign language unless you’re some prodigy who has already mastered one. With a foreign language at least level 3, I’ll give you a 9/10. I think AP Physics 1 is basically Honors Physics, so it’ll be pretty easy.

Intensive English II
Intensive Biology(I may try and move up to honors)
P. E. And Health(Required for all sophomores at my high school)

Film Editing

I would’ve liked to get some business classes as I want to eventually go into business but I couldn’t find time in my schedule and also for some reason, my school only offers business classes at the comp level. Except for Economics which I will probably take Junior Year

Trust me @Nick2124 - you have no idea how much persuasion/emails/long conversations I had to go through to get most of those classes on my schedule.

Your schedule is pretty good, just make sure to take all honors, or the highest level based on the weighting scale at your HS. Try persuading your GC into letting you take an AP class or two, I had to get through so much BS.

I’m taking the AP US Government Exam. I got a 56/60 on the practice multiple choice yeah i know its still a 5 but im really expecting to do horribly on the FRQs.

Not enough APs and honors. Not impressed. :))

@apandia My counselor wouldn’t let me take 2 honors sciences classes as a sophomore. Those guys are serious pains.

@SwaggyC Yeah and mine wouldn’t let me take AP Biology without taking Pre-AP Biology! But other students were allowed to because I heard one kid say he’s taking AP Bio and AP Chem next year in 10th grade. So I don’t know what the counselor has against me. I have all As why does she think I can’t handle it and those other people who she’s letting take AP Bio can?
