^Maybe if you use your semi-colons correctly… :)

Finals this week…Yayyyyyy
:’( head is about to explode of so much smartness

Good luck on your finals @penngirlpending! I’ve been MIA for a long time, hi again everyone! It’s summer for me so I’m not sure how often I’ll be on, but I HAVEN’T DIED, DON’T WORRY. :)

@penngirlpending You’re American and still in school? It seems like Summers are getting shorter and shorter. I just found out today that I go back to school August 19th. Earlier than I was anticipating. .-.

2-3 years is a lot. You’ve probably learned almost everything on the test, except maybe some alg. II material

Have you been taking practice tests or the real thing?

I got my sophomore schedule through the mail today- since other people are sharing, I thought I would too. My main classes are:

Lit I
AP Calc BC
AP World His
Honors Physics

(plus gym and an elective)

My school screwed my GPA over. I was supposed to take Orchestra (easy 100 both semesters) last year, but apparently orchestra and another class occupied the same period, so i was pretty much forced to take another class. And guess what, the teacher was a really lazy grader who never gave you anything higher than a 95 no matter how hard you tried. Not because you didn’t deserve it, but just because he didn’t want to actually do his job. So that’s why I’m out of the running for val

gg no re

@Elainajulia- Thanks!
@ThatOneWeirdGuy

First day finals finished!
Yup we have school till Friday. It stinks. I can’t believe you guys get out so early! We start school in sept, its crazy school starts in Aug!

@Yakisoba - that really sucks! i’m sorry to hear that, i hope things are way better for you this coming year. Also, i am a fellow orchadork :)

Hi guys, I used to be college confidential for this thread in August 2013, but I left because of the excess amount of school work cough bio cough. Anyway I’m in the midst in my finals and summer is so close I can practically taste it. How was your freshman year? We’re almost sophomores! By the way the classes I’m taking next year are:

AP Euro(year long and if I drop out Global)
Earth Science(year long)
Geometry(year long)
Compositions(year long and English for 10th grade)
Desserts around the world(semester)
Cooking 101(semester)
Pottery(semester)
Psychology(semester)
Fitness(year long and gym)
Spanish 3A(year long)
Spanish Lab(year long)

@iheartshopping I think “Desserts around the world” is gonna be my new “AP underwater basket weaving.” XD

What do you guys know about college admissions’ attitudes about testing out of classes?

@ThatOneWeirdGuy

Totally cool with it if you actually pass

Also, @iheartshopping, what is a “Spanish Lab” class like?

Hello everyone! I’ll be graduating in 2017 as well. It’s hard to believe that any of you are still in school; we’ve been out for a month! I wish I had my schedule, but I don’t think we get them until like two days before school starts. You all seem to be taking really impressive classes! My school only offers one AP for sophomores (world history), which I’m taking, and since I sweet-talked my French teacher, I can take AP French too ! Good luck with your finals if anyone’s still taking them! Oh, and are any of you planning on taking the ACT/SAT next year?

@Thatoneweirdguy its an easy class and its an elective so it doesn’t really matter. Also I like cooking so I’m taking a cooking class, what’s so stupid about that. @Apollo11 spanish lab is an extra period of spanish for anyone whos taking the honors class and wants a tutor so they don’t fail.

@petitlion I already took them just for the heck of it, and I’ll probably take the PSAT next year.

Also, I’m only going to take 2 APs next year like you, but I actually took 4 last year, which was a bad, bad idea. Don’t stress over it.

@theskittlebug Really? Which did you prefer? My goodness, four sounds horrible! I’m already worried about AP exams for those two but I just can’t imagine four! Which were they, if you don’t mind me asking?

Whose still in school?

Me

@petitlion Well, I did slightly better on the ACT and I think it’s easier, especially the english section (just idioms/grammar regurgitation).
Four was not fun. I took AP Chinese online, and AP Chem, Lang, and Human Geo at my school, but I only took the actual test for the last three. Also, I got two B’s first semester and one second, so bye-bye valedictorianship lol.

We should totally have a AP World His study group/thread when the new school year comes around, since so many of us are taking it!

@theskittlebug Definitely, great idea! Okay good, because I want to take the ACT! My, my, my that sounds a lot! Hats off to you for getting through it!
