What goals do you hope to have this Sophomore year?
Mine is a 3.9 Sophomore GPA (Probs not gonna get it but… why not aim for it! >:D< )
My school started on 8/3. It’s pretty early but I got out of school last year on 5/20 so it’s fine.
I want to get straight As and I want to start a club 
also maybe get to nationals for history day
Should I take AP Spanish Language? My Spanish 3 teacher recommended me to do it. I speak it at home so should I do it?
I started on 8/11. I want to get straight A’s and pass my AP exam. I also want to join a club and start volunteering at a hospital.
@cxprus Definitely! If you take/pass AP foreign language it means no foreign language in college! You should also have time in your scheduale
I want to get strait A’s this year and get a 5 on the AP World exam.
My teacher recommends that the students in Spanish III take the AP exam. I don’t think I’m going to take it this year because I feel like I’d probably get a 1 or a 2 so I’m just going to wait until AP Spanish next year.
@Livdagos Another AP Comp Sci resource I thought would be helpful comes from this website called Edhesive. It’s this entirely free full course where you can interact with other students in a forum. It doesn’t officially start until the end of August though.
@sewin2music I think it might be a good idea. I took Intro Spanish in (7th) because I passed Spanish 1 (took it in 8th) with an A for the course, Spanish 2 with an A (in freshman year)
I started on August 12. My goals are to get straight A’s and to try to dress nice every day xD
Kind of bummed my middle school didn’t have French, I definitely would have taken it then 
Now I won’t be able to take AP French because that’s the 5th year.
When your own school doesn’t offer AP classes :-q
@apple1893 we start September 3rd but which is 6 days earlier than last year
Also I’d like to maintain my 4.0 unweighted and raise my weighted GPA to a solid 4.4

I start school 9/8 and I was out of school july 17th.
My goals is to get all A’s (but I have to see about PE cause if I have the same teacher as last year I’m doomed), join 2 clubs, self-study an AP, not school related but I’d like to keep working at my part time job and volunteer for Canada’s upcoming federal election! Also maybe with my school youth workee I would like to do a fundraiser for mental health in teens which is something very close to my heart but I’ll have to see. I have lots of goals but let’s see how much time I have…
Any other sophomores entering into their first year in the high school building?

@apple1893 I am thinking human geography or US Government, but I need to talk to my guidance counselor first
I’m self-studying AP computer science. I don’t really know how to approach my advisor telling her this but, I’m sure I’ll figure it out. @Livdagos
@apple1893 my advisor is really not willing to help or go out of the way so I’ll talk to her and if she’s not willing to help,I’ll go another one who is much more open to me trying things and we get along quite well
SAME! My advisor thinks that I am on the “right track!” I want to question her by saying, “You think a B+ GPA is on the right track (I know, I know it is a bad GPA)?” Never the less, I need to self-study AP’s because I just want to see my do well in them (I know, it sounds stupid, but I hope you get the point). I will probably email the dean of my school before the registration deadline. @Livdagos
