That’s awesome! @Phantomlink !
@Phantomlink how is that even possible aren’t DBQ’s scored out of either 7 or 9 points
so a 8/9 would still be a B
@TrainerGary We’re so behind were doing ch 9 next week prob cus we started school so late September 10th
My teacher does 90% for a 7, 95% for an 8, 100% for a 9, and I’m not sure how exactly she does it for 1-6.
@Madeline25 Congrats! That’s awesome!! What are DBQ’s?
@HalfwayThereUni1 We have 19 AP’s at my school. Sophomores-Seniors can take them (depends on the course).
In my World History class, we do a chapter for a week or two, then we have a review sheet due on the test day (assigned 2 days before on a Wednesday). On Thursday we have jeopardy, and Friday we have the test. The class is really easy. Not honors/weighted or anything, much to my dismay. I have a 99.45% right now, and it’s going to go up when my teacher enters my test grade from last Friday.
I’m taking WHAP my senior and APUSH next year (APUSH didn’t fit in my schedule for this year).
I’m probably going to be M.I.A. this week, it’s the last week of the quarter. Plus, I have all-state band auditions in less than a month :-SS
Good news guys! I had a marching competition yesterday and we received all superiors! Also, I made a 100 on my biology tests when I usually make low As! Random but I’m scared for next year. I’ll have 4 AP classes!
@HelloThereHola which ap’s will you be taking next year?
@frazzledazzle Thanks! I’m sure you’ll do great at the auditions. You’ll have to come back and tell us all how it went! DBQ’s are doccment based questions which are just essays we have to right about pieces of documents related to a certain historical question. They are really hard, annoying, and long as you can tell from all our complaining. Be glad you don’t have to do them.
@HelloThereHola Wow, that’s great! I’m scared too. Full on IB DP
:-SS

@frazzledazzle ^:)^ ^:)^ ^:)^ I wissssshhhhhhhhh my school had that many!! I want to go to UC Berkeley soooo badly, but my main worry is that my high school academic record won’t be up to par with others. You’re really lucky! I’m taking AP Psych right now, and I wanted to take AP Human Geography but we don’t have it, and I wanted to graduate with an Associate’s Degree when I graduated high school but at this rate that might not happen, either…
@halfwaythereuni1 cool!! My sister goes to UC Berkeley! She majored in some biology thing, and she’s headed for med school.
I’m sure you can do it just balance gpa and extracurriculars and such
@raffie Thanks! My main worry is the SAT… but I’m going to try and work on that. :)) Lol, you cracked me up when you said “she majored in some biology thing”. I want to triple-major (it’s not thatttttt crazy!: Political Science, Society & Environment, Peace & Conflict Studies) and triple-minor (maybe a little crazy, but they’re interesting!: LGBT Studies, Human Right Interdisciplinary, and Gender & Women’s Studies). At least that’s my plan, anyway…
Congrats to your sister, though! Especially on med school! I thought about law school, but I’m not sure I’m patient enough for that…
Do you know where you want to go?!
I’d also love to know where everyone wants to go too, reach schools and all!
My dream right now is Northwestern HPME, but I also love Brown PLME, Rice/Baylor MSP, UPitt GAP, and for regular undergrads Havard, Duke, UPenn… I can have my unrealistic dreams if I want to
I’d like to go to Florida State University, since I live in Florida but really any college with a decent Criminal Justice/Criminology program would be nice.
YOOOO!!! SARAH BLAKELY WENT TO FLORIDA STATE!!! I’m sorry, that’s kinda hype…
Ayeee, but dreams (even unrealistic ones) can become realities, though…
