Dang, my fourth of July was amazing! My friends and I went to one of my friend’s pool and swam/played around for a couple hours, then we walked to Five Guys and got burgers and peach Sprite…when we got back we played some card games, waiting for it to get dark, and then we set our own firecrackers, mini fireworks, sparklers, and smoke bombs.
Anyway, I’m very surprised to find that the average for the previous Bio test was a 76…and the standard deviation was 59-93! That means that around 60% of people in my class got between 59 and 93 as their score for that test.
Ahahaha, I’m just saying this because I got a 100 on it, and I was very proud.
On a side note, my teacher says that this class will be the easier high school class we’ve ever taken because apparently 9th grade bio is a joke. He says that chem will be extremely hard and straight-A students have been known to get their first Cs and Ds in chem… I’m taking it as a freshmen so that made me kinda nervous.
Also one last thing, I had this really weird dream two days ago, that I got a 56 on a test…yeah I was weird.
@raventhemage That’ll be the first of many dreams, sadly. If my dreams were reality, I’ve failed Geometry three times, and my engineering class twice. Pretty sure I failed English once as well.
@raventhemage At my school, chem is hard, but it’s very possible to get a 100. I actually did better in H Chem than H Bio!
Nice job on your test! (Nerd.)
Lol thanks! I have a friend that usually scores three or four points higher than me on most things, and she got a 97 on this test… which is still a fantastic score, but I’m kinda internally satisfied that I’m finally the best at something (well, among my classmates anyway).
This has really inflated my ego to astronomically dangerous levels, in addition to when my teacher said I was the best on my jeopardy team (biology jeopardy, whoever wins gets extra credit)…hahahaha but I know I’ll be humbled again when school starts and the insane braniacs in science olympiad know everything… oh well, I can aspire to be like them.

Hey guys, sorry for being really inactive. I’ve been so busy with church/youth group and summer homework. Anyways, I finally got my official schedule and I’m really happy with it.
Honors Geometry
Honors Biology
Dance Techniques 1
Honors English 1
Creative Writing- two semester classes that add up to a full year class
Spanish 3 Honors- online during 1st semester
Spanish 4 Honors- online during 2nd semester
I’m also gonna be really involved with the Christ Club at my school, my youth group/church services, and volunteering both in church and at local charities. I’ve been thinking a lot about career ideas and my ideas have changed drastically. I have really bad anxiety and lots of medical things like blood trigger major panic attacks. I’m much more interested in psychology. I’ve been thinking about combining a psychology major with a youth/teen ministry minor.
I ended up hating my engineering class so I asked for a transfer to another class… they ended up putting me in an upperclassmen level Environmental Science class. Super nervewracking!
So my schedule is as follows:
Tech and English 9 (The upper echelon of the class gets put in this class)
Spanish 2 (A year ahead)
Algebra 2 Advanced (Kinda self-explanatory, it’s the advanced class)
Environmental Science (You’re supposed to take 2 science classes before this, but idk they gave me permission)
Theater Arts (just taking this for the fine arts credit, though it is a fun class)
Biology 1 (no honors, I thought there was but nooo, everyone takes this class)
