I’m top ten!!!
They took a picture of us and put it in the newspaper. I’m just so happy that I’m top ten. We won’t know our individual ranks until the next semester, though…
Quarter 1 grades:
Honors Algebra 1: 94.47
Honors American World History: 96.81
Business: 98.32
AP computer science: 97.61
Honors English 9: 95.43 (I got a B+ on my essay, I’m so happy because English is my worst subject!!)
French 1: 97.13
Honors physical science(chemistry): 96.13
I’m very happy with all of my grades! Algebra could be better, but hopefully I get it up this upcoming quarter.

Ah, the Science Olympiad upperclassmen found my CC account… it’s a running joke now. I haven’t posted in a long time, but yeah, I’m doing fine.

My midterm grades just came in, I’m pretty happy.
English 9- 98
Spanish 2- 99
Algebra 2 Advanced- 118
Environmental Science- 100
Theatre Arts- 100
Biology 1- 93 (low, I’d like to get it up but if it stays at a 93 then my semester grade will be a 94 which is an A so I’m fine)
I’m pretty proud of how I’m doing so far this quarter. I somehow got a 97 on an essay test about 1984 by George Orwell that I didn’t prepare for so I’m incredibly satisfied. Also, today in English we played a vocabulary game for extra credit and my group won so we get an extra 5 points on our test tomorrow, which is really cool because I’m trying to get my grade to a 100.
Overall I’ve been having a great time! In Environmental Science we get to compete in Envirothon, which is cool because if we win regionals and state we get to go to Idaho! Obviously we likely won’t win but it’s fun to think of.
I dunno, I’m loving freshman year.
You guys make me feel so stupid with your grades!
American World History: 93 (going down to a 91 or 92 Bc I was absent and got a B+ on my test…)
English 9: 91 (should go up soon)

French 1: 100 (going down for sure, she isn’t a good teacher and everyone is doing bad in her class, even the honors students. She just gave us a test today and we didn’t learn anything that was on it)

@stanford200381 dude… those are great grades. you aren’t “stupid”, being on this site as a freshman shows that you’re rlly motivated to succeed
Second qtr going pretty good so far. All qtr grades are above 95 (except a 92 in AP world - there was a test that everyone bombed (the class avg was a 71), and my avg should go up soon bc we just took a really easy test today). Got into allstate choir and was the only freshman from my school to get in (the other 5 ppl are all juniors and seniors) so I’m p stoked!! About to go volunteer for an elementary Science Olympiad thing that the HS scioly club is putting on, and going to a MUN conference tomorrow. 10/10 would second qtr again
My name is Alex this is my mom’s account. I am still in 7th grade (class of 2023). But I have a question. Do you have ANY FREE time? Do you play video games or just hang out ever?
@alexmom05 I don’t know about anyone else but I have a lot of free time, I’m even doing a movie night with some friends tonight, sometimes hw piles up for honors and ap but it’s never too much
@alexmom05 Dude, I have so much freetime that it’s sickening.
I go to an uncompetitive high school in Indiana, which might play into it, but I have maybe 30min-1hr of homework a day (to be fair I finish my HW in class but) and work is pretty easy.

No, but I have a lot of free time. After school, I eat a snack, take a nap, eat dinner, do homework about 6:30PM to 7PM, watch TV or YouTube, browse the internet, whatever I want to do until about 11PM when I go to bed.
So far, freshman year’s not too hard.

I’m sick again 
I’m missing today, but it won’t be excused! I hate missing school, I’ve already missed 2 and a half unexcused days and I feel like my teachers won’t recommend me for honors next year because of it.
Yo yo we have 3 years until we actually start worrying about college! Look towards a brighter future y’all
My algebra teacher said I’m really shy and that I might struggle in higher math classes, so I guess this means he won’t be recommending me to take geometry and algebra 2 next year.
I like how I’m getting overwhelmed from the better grades of the guy above me getting overwhelmed by the people with better grades haha
Btw, any aspiring political science/law/non-stem people here? 
@Bohseon Nope, my goal is pre med. Probably will major in neurobiology, neuroscience, or biochemistry depending on what majors the college I go to offers.
