My high school offers Honors and AP courses plus something called dual credit or dual enrollment. I'm taking two courses at my high school that are taught by a local college. I receive college credit but it is reflected on my high school transcript and I don't have to send a seperate college transcript. My state universities do accept them as transfer credits. Does anybody else have this? Does ND recognize this type of program?

I took a course that was dual enrollment with Kenyon and ND did not accept the credit, though your experience may be different. You best bet is to call admissions and ask about the specific class of which you are unsure.

Not to be a downer, but I remember hearing somewhere that ND usually doesn't accept dual enrollment, and isn't too accepting of college credit in general, especially when the classes are required for your major.

ND will not accept college credits earned in high school. The only exception I have found (and you don't want to do it this way) is actually myself. Since I had those credits, I was unable to take those classes at the school I went to. Then, when I transferred to ND, they did accept them because I wouldn't take the classes otherwise, if that makes sense.

Anyways, for the most part just ignore that, ND just won't accept those credits. However, you could always take the AP exam in those subjects.
