High school community college units

I took some comm college classes during high school:

German 1,2,3,4
Precalc
English - 201 A Composition, 201C Critical Thinking
Poli Sci 202 - US Gov and Pol

Will these transfer? I'm undeclared looking at engineering by the way

How does this work as far as placement?

also, I forgot to say that I have already taken calc 1 in high school (not comm college), but didn’t take the AP test (really mad now about that) because my school didn’t offer it and I didn’t think I would be ready. Turns out I’ve actually started covering BC topics, so I probably could have taken the AB test. Anyway, I think this means I can’t take Calc 2. So will Calc 1 be really boring? I know college is supposed to be harder…

Check with your USC advisor. You can find out who that is online.

Did you take the classes in CA? If so, USC has articulation agreements with most CA CC’s:

Error;

You may receive up to 32 units total of AP and/or college courses taken before high school graduation, with a maximum of 16 allowed for college courses taken before high school graduation. Credit will be given for only ONE if an AP and college course cover the same subject.

Within a week or so of you submitting AP score reports and/or college transcripts, a credit report will appear on your Oasis. Check that to see how your credit is applied.

yes! thanks guys (girls)

looks like I will get out of lower division writing and any language requirement although I might take language anyway and most of my credits will transfer I think

Be careful with that, the articulation agreement is intended for community college transfers and to a lesser extent classes taken while at USC so even if there is an equivalence, it MAY not be exactly true for community college classes taken during high school.
