"High School Course Work Requirements" assessed at graduation, or when applying?

I want to make sure I’m not applying under the wrong impression. I see that under the course requirements it requires 4 years of English, but I have only taken 3. I am starting an English 4 class in a month, right around the time I am applying. Will that satisfy the requirement or was I supposed to be taking it already? (I go to a virtual school, and that’s why I’m allowed to start classes at will.)

I’m a prospective Chemistry major btw.

At graduation.

Thank you so much.

Your “senior year” classes count. So if you’re starting your virtual senior year, you would include the classes in which you are enrolled on your transcript to colleges. They will expect a second, final transcript to be sent whenever you complete your virtual senior year. You (or a guidance counselor if you have one) should explain your untraditional calendar to the schools to which you apply, if they don’t already have a school report that covers it.
