High School Credit Requirements

I'm applying for a college that requires 3 foreign language credits. However, I skipped taking a foreign language course in my sophomore year because I wanted to pursue my interests. In addition, I decided to change my language in my junior year to Spanish instead of French. Thus, assuming I take another Spanish course in my senior year, I will only have 2 foreign language credits (of the same language). If a take a Spanish course during the summer of 2013, will I still be able to fulfill the language requirement, or does the college stop counting after the second semester of the senior year?

Thanks!

You should talk to the college, because I don’t know of any general rule. However, if I had to guess, I would say they won’t accept it.

Same problem! Most say “recommends” three years but don’t require them. This is mostly with private schools

I am having the same issue with physics. I am similarly wondering if taking physics after senior year (in the summer) will fulfill colleges requirements. I have 3 emails out to my top 3 colleges and if no one answers you, I will certainly keep you posted!

Best of luck,
