Good morning,
Can somebody explain to me whether I can request my councelor to exclude my High school credits from the time when I was in middle school, as I have more than enough credits for advanced diploma without grades from middle school. By doing so, I will improve my GPA.

Thank you.

I thought that middle school grades don’t count in your high school GPA whatsoever. You only take middle school classes to get into higher level classes in high school, and that’s it.

My school does the same thing sort of. It’s a 6 year HS so I never went to middle school, but one of my grades, which happens to be a B is on my transcript and included in my GPA. But I am pretty sure that any college that recalculates your GPA will remove your middle school grades, so see which ones recalculate GPA.

I have to re-do the classes that i didn’t do too well in. well actually it’s just one.
my guidance counselor told me that i had to redo it because 1. that would strengthen my GPA even more and 2. because there was no other way i could make those grades not count.
