I was interested in this guy during high school back in Illinois. He flirted with me a lot (I'm not very good at picking up on these sorts of things, but that is what my friends told me) and towards the end of school he found out that I thought he was cute and started to act more confident in his flirtations. Then he texted me and talked to me via social networking sites from time to time but I am not the most socially confident person and he told me that my awkwardness made things difficult and didn't contact me for a while. We're on colleges on opposite sides of the US--he's on the east coast and I'm on the west coast. Now he's contacted me again (via a social networking site) and asked me a bunch of questions about my college life and that sort of thing. We weren't good friends, but people told me all of the time that he was into me and some of his friends would even tease me during classes and call me by his last name and stuff. I can't tell if there's a possibility that he could still (if he ever was to begin with) be interested in me, or if he's just bored. If he isn't just bored, I want to somehow express my interest to him, but I don't know how. What are your thoughts? Do you think it'd be worth it for me to see if he's interested?

(I'm posting this in high school life because it's been sort of an ongoing thing since high school--just fyi!)
