High School Freshmen Summer

Hey guys? I'm merely a freshmen looking at what i could possibly do this summer.

Just to tell you guys a little about myself...
I go to a Long Island public school and based off of the year so far, i have a 3.95 GPA. I havent taken any standardized tests (obviously). My dream school is Wharton UPENN so i plan on pursuing business in the long run, but for now I gotta focus on Wharton. I only participated in 2 clubs this year. Academically, my strong side is math, taking alg2 and trig this year.

Ideally, it would be best to do something business related like economics. Unfortunately, my parents aren't willing to pay for the pre-college programs. Also any volunteer services/internships that could relate to these interests would be great. I'm going to try to take a few classes at the Community College as well

Definitely enjoy the community classes and volunteer services/internships while you have the chance! When you’re in the summer of your junior year, that’s the year you can shine. Best to get some volunteer hours in while you still have lots of time over the summer to do it!
