High school grades noticed for transfer admission at UCs?

<p>I did really bad in high school and I am about to start community college, and I was wondering if I try to transfer to UCLA or UC Berkeley, would they look at my high school grades as well when considering admission?</p>

<p>No. They don’t even ask for your hs transcript until after you’re admitted. Even then, your grades won’t matter.</p>

<p>if you’re applying as a transfer student then no, they don’t even ask you to submit your high school transcripts.</p>

<p>^some do. Uci asked me for mine after I was admitted. It’s usually a formality or to check for your foreign language requirement.</p>
