High School Health Professions Program: Worth it or not?

Would an emerging health program (8 credits for anatomy and physiology, plus job shadowing and guest speakers done via a state school and technical institute) for a high school senior be beneficial?

My only issues are that it doesn’t seem exceedingly helpful (3h/day) and the cost is a steep $2400. It’s conducted by the hospital, a state school, and technical institute connected with the local community college.

I really want to be a doctor and my teacher expressed that it was a wonderful program that bridges the gap between college and high school. It sounds fun, but I wasn’t certain so I wanted to ask. Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thank you!
