<p>I though I had it…1st rank w/ all the science/math on all ap’s except for chem under my belt (except for chem which I’m taking next year), olympiads semi-finalist, usaco silver, >230 PSAT scores, great recs, [i think] passionate solid essays :-/, first with my math/science research at city science fair and state science fair with computer science projects [unfortunately no isef, and didn’t learn of siemens/intel until it was too late…]</p>
<p>And then I receive a rejection in my spam saying no sophomores can apply. Grargh, I thought I read their website which didn’t have such a limitation.</p>
<p>Any thoughts? Hahaha, what am I missing here and/or is it really that no sophomores are allowed, because I thought I heard of sophomores from HSHSP…i’m worried and so are my parents that I’m failing so much :-(</p>
<p>Rising sophomore or current sophomore (rising junior)? I thought sophomores were allowed to apply, but their chances were just much lower. Did the email say straight up that sophomores weren’t allowed to apply?</p>

<p>^don’t worry, you’re not the only one. all I got so far was an email from a student teacher saying that they received my application and PSAT scores. the wait is really making me worried but I’m also guessing it’s bad news =</p>
