Did anyone not get a confirmation email?
I did not and, frankly, it is scaring me.

i wouldn’t be too worried, @UMTYMP2015. pretty sure that a ton of people procrastinated and sent it in last minute, which means they have a ton of envelopes to check and confirmation emails to send out…add that to the fact that they don’t work weekends, and basically it’ll be ok

I wrote about Charlotte’s Web #yolo

@UMTYMP2015 same with me still haven’t got anything and it’s making me nervous.

I wrote about Never Eighteen. It had a huge impact on me and changed my personality and priorities. It is also what interested me in research, especially medical research.

I wrote about
“Outlier, The Story of Success”

Totally contrived.
I wanted to write creatively, like by analyzing themes of some obscure books I read, but I somehow convinced myself to just write about the 10,000 hour rule in “Outlier, The Story of Success”…

I mean, it was a great book, and it did affect me a lot. But I just felt like my creativity was lacking in this dept…
Pretty sad there :(

I wrote about The Crucible :/

Some of you guys wrote about some cool books. Dang, I probably should’ve chosen something a little more creative. Maybe I should’ve wrote about 50 Shades of Grey… a true family classic

Ooooh
The Crucible.
I remember that. It was awesome…

LOL 50 Shades of Grey…definitely a good idea for a book essay, highly recommend =D>

Anyone else still not get any confirmation?

@Audrae I just received mine today, sent it the 15th…which by now was over a week ago. They still must be sorting thru applications

Is anyone else expecting some financial aid/ scholarship/ assistance? How much can I reasonably expect coming from an 80k net income family?

I applied for financial aid, but I am not sure how much I will get since I am a 110K income and my dad forgot to include the medical expenses of my surgery late last year.

@Holocaust you’ll probably get full scholarship if you get in
@neurogirl97 You could always email her afterwards and see if she’ll award you more money.

@SpoolMan, do you say that because of holocaust’s family net income? Or do a lot of kids generally get full scholarships?

What about ~150k?

Is there anyone else who still hasn’t gotten a confirmation email?
I sent mine in overnight on the 14th.

@aops100 you might want to give them a call, see if they didn’t accidentally send the confirmation to the wrong email

@aops100 any luck?

Anybody know if decisions will be out by the end of April?
