I have no idea but I recalled a recent thread about ranking the summer research programs. I have no idea whether this is accurate though these are all pretty well regarded programs so for what it is worth: http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/summer-programs/1747310-updated-ranking-of-top-summer-research-programs.html#latest The fact that NIH is two above HSHSP seems pretty insignificant. They are both listed in the top 10 (at least in that person’s view). But I feel like these two programs will be very different experiences outside of the actual labs. HSHSP is much smaller and you’re all living together on a college campus. NIH is bigger. The internship program includes college students as well as high school students and everyone is commuting (unless I am mistaken).
Any alumna on this board? How was the quality of research in non-biology related fields like physics, engineering, etc?
