Hey, I was just wondering what are some of the internships available for a rising senior in high school? Specifically science ones. I know most of the things like NIH already passed the deadline... sigh

Try and go down to your local university, doesnt matter what it is, or shoot them an email asking if they need any help this summer with research within some department.

I would like to get an internship for this summer, and I was thinking about possibly getting something in a public relations firm. Should I just email a bunch of firms? And, if I do email them, should I attach my resume?

FYI, high school kids dont get internships, they get part-time summer jobs at local businesses. No employer in 4 years will care that you worked at Dicks Sporting goods your senior year of high school.

FYI , haller, people who care do get internships .
there are SO many around the boston area, but you have to be over 16 for most. (HARVARD MED has a good research asst program. & forsyth has a paid internship for boston public school kids & offers boarding . there are some programs. you just have to be interested to apply )

Yea, there are tons of high school internships at engineering firms and universities all over Oregon as well.

Lets say they do let high school kids apply, you will always lose to a college undergraduate.

Some are meant specifically for high school students. that doesn't mean they're not competitive though.

the ones i am talking about are specifically for high school kids...and they are competitive even though there are a lot
