I'm kind of confused over which IB subjects to take, mainly because I'm torn about which path to follow, more scientific or humanities?

My intended choices:

Math Studies SL (core class in gr10myp, grade 4-5/7 >.<)
English A1 Language and Literature SL (not sure, might be English B HL, A2 is no longer existing =.=)
Chemistry HL
Biology HL
Vietnamese A1 Literature SL
Geography HL

Any suggestions? I heard from some seniors in my school that Math Studies can actually ruin my chances for biomedical areas, and when I look up to most science majors, they do have a good math component inside. Well, biomedical is one option (and thumbs up by my mom) but I'm also interested in the humanities (Geo, relations between people, religious flair, social issues, generally something to do with Geography and thinking :) )

Geo can't be replaced, i'm its advocate :) So is bio, not so sure about whether to opt for Chemistry (so to say, rearing on biomedical...Anyways, please help me, I'm good for sciences and humanities (even though a bit zealous on literature). But some ppl says math studies is a big problem. :( plz confirm this to me :(
