High School Transcript Question

Hi, I just have a question on high school transcripts. I am doing bad this first quarter in my 4 core subjects: AP Euro, AP Calc, AP Lit, and AP Physics. I just want to know if colleges review both the first and second quarter of senior year before making decisions on applicants or just first quarter. I do know schools send in mid year reports but is that before or after the decisions are made and sent out to students?

(My guidance counselor has been out all of my senior year for maternity leave and everyone who has her has been transferred to head of guidance who is busy and hard to get a meeting with unless you are in the top 20 kids of our school so don't tell me to ask a counselor.)

Also since I am probably applying to NYU Early Decision II and they make their decisions by February would they review both 1st and 2nd or just 1st because they have less time?

Thanks in advance!

They will review whatever grades your counselor has sent and most likely for EDII the school will require your second quarter grades.

Ugh so I will probably have to ask her what she is sending… Thanks anyways.

It depends on the deadline and when do you submit your transcript. You are likely to have the Q1 grades before most RD deadline.
